Version of 19 October 2026

1. Who we are

Data Atelier (dataatelier.ru) is a research project about fashion and beauty search demand. The operator is Evgeniia Arzamastseva, a self-employed individual (professional income tax payer) in Russia. Contact: itsdataatelier@yandex.com. This English version describes the same practices as our Russian Privacy Policy at https://dataatelier.ru/privacy and adds a section about our Pinterest integration.

2. Data we collect from website visitors

  • Your email address, when you buy a material (payments are processed by Robokassa).
  • Your email address, when you leave it in the “Notify me” form.
  • The name and email you enter in our Telegram bot (@Data_atelier_bot), and the Telegram ID and username that Telegram passes to the bot.
  • Technical data about visits (browser data, cookies) collected by Yandex Metrica.

3. Why we use it

To fulfil orders and send receipts; to tell you about new materials if you subscribed; to answer your questions; to send free materials you requested through the bot; to analyse and improve the website.

4. Who processes it for us

Robokassa (payments and receipts), our email delivery service, Yandex Metrica (web analytics), Timeweb (hosting) and Telegram (message delivery). We do not pass personal data to anyone else except where Russian law requires it.

5. Retention and your rights

Order data is kept as long as our obligations and tax law require, and no longer than 3 years after your last contact with us, unless the law sets a different period. An email left in the “Notify me” form is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

You can ask what data we hold, ask us to correct, block or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to itsdataatelier@yandex.com. You can unsubscribe from notifications at any time via the link in the email or by writing to the same address. We reply within 10 business days. After consent is withdrawn, we stop processing your data and delete it within 30 days, unless Russian law requires otherwise.

6. Pinterest integration

Our internal tool, Data Atelier Trends, connects to the Pinterest API to read aggregated Pinterest Trends data.

  • Only our own Pinterest business account is connected. Visitors of our website and other Pinterest users do not sign in to Pinterest through our service.
  • We request one permission, user_accounts:read, which Pinterest requires for trends data.
  • We receive aggregated trend data: keywords, growth rates and relative search-interest indices by country or region. This data contains no personal data about Pinterest users.
  • We do not access, store or process Pins, boards, profiles or any other personal data of Pinterest users.
  • The app secret and access tokens are stored securely on our side and are never published.
  • We do not sell or share data received from Pinterest, do not use it for advertising and do not use it to train AI models.
  • We keep trend data only as Pinterest’s Developer Terms permit and delete it at Pinterest’s request or within 30 days after our API access ends.
  • When we publish an observation based on Pinterest Trends, we credit Pinterest Trends as the source.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. A new version applies from the date it is published on this page.
